Naemi Gustavsson launched her brand in 2015 after studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Design in Copenhagen. She has her studio in Malmö and works with conceptual men’s fashion with a focus on sustainable processes in both the design and production stages. Her work revolves around the garment’s use and creating a stronger relationship between the garment and its wearer.
At Form/Design Center Naemi presents some of her latest collection 31°. The thermochromic textiles are a collaboration with Marie Ledendal PhD. The textiles react to heat, which creates a movement in the surface, which lightens depending on the body’s condition: a kind of consumer-customised product that is influenced by its individual use.
